The Dwinelle Computer Research Facility, administered and staffed by the Berkeley Language Center, provides support to faculty in the Humanities for technology-enhanced research and development of instructional materials. The DCRF provides a limited number of “resident” carrels equipped with computers and software to Humanities faculty whose research project has been been approved through the Humanities Computing Committee (contact , Chairman, for more information).
The DCRF has four drop-in computers for first-come, first-served use by authorized DCRF users. If you wish to become an authorized user, please send us an .
If you are interested in becoming a DCRF resident, please send us an email indicating your interest and the time-frame of your project. Also, please download this PDF application, fill it out, print it (you cannot save a filled-out version of this PDF) and return it to us. Currently there are two open spaces available.
You can find us in 310 Dwinelle Hall on the University of California, Berkeley campus. Room 310 is on level F in the classroom wing of Dwinelle.

, a web developer and graphic designer for the BLC, provides support to resident and drop-in users of the DCRF. He can generally be found in room 310B (or elsewhere within the BLC offices) 11am–5pm, Monday through Thursday.
